ABOUT BRIAN CONWAY & TONY DEMARCO
Two of New York’s premier Sligo-style fiddlers, Brian Conway and Tony DeMarco joined together in 1981 to record a single album: The Apple in Winter.
Conway is a Senior All-Ireland champion and both he and DeMarco are held in high regard for their respect for and mastery of the traditional of the American Sligo-style of ornamental fiddle playing made popular by artists such as Michael Coleman, Andy McGann, and Paddy Reynolds.
