Joe Craven wins Best of the West award

Congratulations to Joe Craven, our own musical madcap genius, on his 2009 Folk Alliance Best of the West Award!
 
On November 7th, Joe Craven was honored with the Folk Alliance Region-West ’Best of the West’ award in the category of performer. The Best of the West Award was established in 2005 and honors musicians and others within the FAR-West folk community whose talents and efforts on behalf of the community over a period of time have established them as true leaders in their communities. Craven was presented the award during the annual FAR-West conference, a three-day, music-filled weekend for the folk and acoustic music community to unite, exchange songs and ideas, re-charge and do business.

Tony McManus wins Canadian Folk Music Award
