FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
UK Neo Folk label Navigator Records Now Available Through
Compass Records Group
Nashville roots music company the Compass Records Group has announced that it will serve as the North American distributor for the London-based roots imprint Navigator Records. The cross-Atlantic pairing will bring some of the UK’s freshest voices and well known favorites to North American audiences including releases from Bellowhead, Jon Boden, Boo Hewerdine, Faustus, Bella Hardy, Spiers & Boden, Chris Wood and many more.
Navigator Records launched in 2008 with a vision of creating a home for UK artists blending the alternative and edgy side of folk music with more traditionally rooted styles – a 21st century take on the Topic Records legacy in a sense. Since that time, Navigator has become home to many ground-breaking artists on the UK roots & folk scene today, receiving multiple BBC Radio 2 Folk awards and nominations as well as recognition from the Irish Music Awards and glowing press in the major tastemaker publications in the UK. You can view all currently available titles here.
